Charlie is back in The Abbey

It's now a year since Donegal actor Charlie Bonner performed at The Abbey Theatre in Dublin, but now he is back at the famous venue for yet another Shakespeare production.
Following on the huge success of The Comedy Of Errors, the Abbey Theatre is this year producing one of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies, Macbeth.
There are many superstitions around Macbeth, however Ballybofey native doesn't pay much heed to any of them, he is just happy to back working in The Abbey.

Rosenstock brings Gift Grub tto Letterkenny

Today fm's hugely popular comedy slot on the great Ian Dempsey's breakfast show has recently made the big leap from the airwaves onto the stage with resounding success and now people in Donegal can finally look forward to seeing Gift Grub - Live.

Young Donegal student in Fashion Show finals
Ayoung Donegal student has made it to the short list to compete at the DIT Alfa Romeo Fashion Show in Dublin's Vicar Street
Christina McBarron from Donegal town who studies Drama at DIT is modelling a design by Joye Sillery from Dublin entitled 'Rock a Doll'.
The DIT Alfa Romeo Fashion Show, which has a 'Rock Revolution' theme, is now in its seventh year and is run entirely by students from DIT.
A big element of the show is the National Student Design Award at which Christina will be hoping to wow the judges.

Magnificent Google win for Milford student
RUTH Deeney from Loreto Community School in Milford has been crowned Ireland's top doodler after winning Google's second Irish Doodle 4 Google competition.
Ruth competed against 80 regional winners for the doodle crown and won the most public votes of any entry in the Transition Year, 5th, 6th year and Youthreach category.
Google's Chief Webmaster and master doodler Michael Lopez made a special trip to Dublin to present overall winner Ruth, and her teacher Ann Marie Finn, with their prizes today.
