The Letterkenny-based Modern Timber Homes is one of six finalists in the National Enterprise Business of the Year Awards.
These Awards are held annually and represent businesses from the 26 counties that have been supported by their relative County and City Enterprise Boards. Modern Timber Homes was the Donegal County Enterprise Board Business of the year winner last year.
The company makes timber framed structures and was set up in 2004 and now employs 40 people.
Shaun McColgan, director, said they he was delighted to be short listed for the award.
"The last few years have been hard work and our focus has always been on customer service and ensuring delivery on time. We produce a product which is environmentally friendly and energy efficient. I believe timber frame houses are the future. We are looking forward to the awards and in representing Donegal later this month," he said.
