This week on Ebay.com, the world's online marketplace, there is a plethora of historical items on sale. From handmade dolls to stone bottles which has been buried for over 100 years, there's a touch of character to many items up for grabs this week.

A book detailing some historic Donegal carpets has gone on sale. It has 22 colour plates and a few pages of text inside, and is a slim hard back with cloth spine. The front cover reads 'Some Historic Donegal Carpets' and 'made in various districts of County Donegal'. Bidding on this item ends today (19th) at 20.24.

A quirky handmade doll of a Donegal women goes on sale today (Monday) at 9a.m. through a live online auction. The 11" Jay Doll depicts an old Donegal woman wrapped in a grey cloak and a gingham apron. She is in excellent condition, with no holes and is attached to a wood platform. The wrist tag says 'Collectors Character Doll Handmade by JAY in Dublin'. Bidding on this item begins at 9.a.m. today.

A stone bottle from Letterkenny which has been buried for over 100 years has gone on sale. The two-tone bottle has the words William Gallagher, Swilly Bar, Letterkenny written on it. It has no chips or cracks but to be accurate with description it has very slight staining to left hand side. Bidding on this item ends on Tuesday (20th) at 19:58.

A grey t-shirt with the words 'Property of Ardara' has gone on sale. The garment is brand new with tags still intact, and has short sleeves. Bidding on this item is ongoing.
