Blaney appoints Larkin as director of election
Fianna Fáil TD for Donegal North East, Niall Blaney, has announced that Councillor Dessie Larkin is to be his Director of Elections for the up coming General Election campaign.
Cllr Dessie Larkin is a Donegal County Councillor and a Letterkenny town councilor. He was a member of Independent Fianna Fáil before the party rejoined Fianna Fáil last summer.
Deputy Blaney said that he is more than happy to have Cllr Larkin on board for the impending campaign;
"Cllr Larkin is a hard-working and popular councillor who has worked tirelessly at town council level for the people of Letterkenny and at a county level for the people of Donegal."
"He is in touch with the issues at the heart of the Donegal North East constituency and I know that together, we will endeavour to do what we can to secure a seat in Dáil Eireannn for the Letterkenny/ Millford area."
"This election campaign is about taking the next steps forward, and I want to continue to serve Donegal through the regeneration of the North West and further improved cross border cooperation," said Deputy Blaney.
