LETTERKENNY Gardai are investigating a number of incidents that took place around the district over the past week.
More than 100 euro damage was caused when a window was broken at the Rehab Centre in Lifford some time last weekend.
A car was damaged during a break at The Port Business Centre, Port Road, Letterkenny last weekend.
Forged 50 euro notes were passed at two Letterkenny pubs last Saturday.
Two of the notes were used in the Wolfe Tone bar, Lower Main Street at around 9pm on Saturday and two were also passed in the Cavern a short time earlier. Valuable jewellery was stolen from a house at Dr McGinley Road, Letterkenny in the early hours of Monday morning.
The culprit gained entry through a front sitting room window and stole a gold chain, gold bracelet and two gold rings all valued at 1,100 euro. Gardai say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
