ATLANTIC Dawn, the Donegal fishing company founded by the late Kevin McHugh, has purchased a twenty five per cent stake in a Norwegian oil rig servicing company Solvik Offshore.
Solvik has ordered a new ¤35 million platform supply vessel which will be used to service offshore oil rigs.
It confirms Atlantic Dawn's diversification from deep-water fishing to oil services.
