Ramelton: Perfect place for a murder story

RAMELTON has been chosen by a top Irish crime writer Paul Charles as the setting for his latest thriller.

He chose the vill age because he thinks it's the ideal place for a fictional murder.

His latest detective yarn, A Dust of Death, revolves around a gruesome murder which takes place in Ramelton, and his new detective hero, Garda Inspector Starrett, who arrives in Donegal to investigate.

Limavady-born Charles has already published eight successful novels and holidays in Donegal regularly with his wife.

"We spend a lot of time in Donegal on holiday from home in Whitechapel and we like to call in to Ramelton for coffee. It's the perfect place for a fictional murder."
