A YOUNG man is in Letterkenny General Hospital after being assaulted in Moville in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 21-year-old man received injuries to the head and face when he was attacked at 6am in the lower main street of the town. Two men were seen running away from the area when the man was found lying on the ground. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and he was brought to LGH where his condition is described as not serious.
Gardai in Moville are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and appeal to anyone who was in the area around that time to contact them on (93)82002.
