GARDAI are continuing investigations into an incident at Lower Main Street last Monday night in which a gun was allegedly produced.
Gardai have confirmed that a man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was released without charge following questioning and a file is being prepared to be sent to the DPP. The incident took place just off Lower Main Street at about 10.30pm when a fracas erupted, during the course of which the firearm was allegedly produced.
