GARDAI are investigating the cause of a fire which destroyed a car parked near Convoy Orange Hall in the early hours of Friday morning.
Members of the local Orange Lodge had been attending a barbeque in the Hall following the annual July 12 celebrations when they heard a loud bang in the early hours.
Two local men were arrested a short time later for public order offences, however, a garda spokesman said both incidents were not related.
The car belonged to a young local woman who was attending the barbeque.
Earlier that day, local bands marched to Milltown where they boarded buses to take them to the 'Twelfth' parade in Limavady. On their return, they marched up through the town and back to the Hall.
A spokesman for the Lodge described the fire as "unfortunate".
"We don't know if the car was set fire deliberately or not but two men were arrested later and they had no connections with our party," the spokesman said.
He said there was a large crowd lined along the town's Main Street to enjoy the parade.
