GARDAI in West Donegal seized ¤7,500 worth of illegal drugs this week as raids were carried out in a number of areas of the county.

Following an operation in the Annagry area a haul of ¤5,000 worth of cannabis and ¤2,500 worth of cocaine was discovered.

A spokesperson for the gardai said the drugs seizure was part of an ongoing drugs operation in the county and no arrests have been made to date.
