Breda now has a 'degree' of style

Stylist Breda Doherty, from Hair Do's, Letterkenny, recently graduated with a Master Colour Degree from the prestigious ALFAPARF Academy, Dublin.

Breda and a group of senior stylists from salons throughout the country donned traditional gowns and mortarboards to receive their colour degrees at a graduation ceremony in Dublin. They were presented with their colour degrees by Richard Barry, Sales Manager, ALFAPARF Ireland.

The Master Colour Degree is a specialist course designed to expand the knowledge of even the most experienced colourist. Participants learn how to understand colour to its fullest potential opening their minds to all aspects of colouring from consultation to home after care. ALFAPARF, Ireland's leaders in Professional Haircare Education, has over 200 courses nationwide. The ALFAPARF Academies set and maintain high standards through their seminars and courses which are designed for both beginners and experienced hairdressers.

Their Academies not only offer courses on the creative and technical skills that are needed to be a professional in the industry, but also the commercial and managerial skills that are required for running a successful business.

ALFAPARF also offers training courses at their academies based in Milan and Barcelona.
