THE funeral took place on Wednesday in St Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny of the late Mrs Angela McDaid.
Mrs McDaid (nee McDaid) passed away on Monday at her late residence, Glencar Scotch, Letterkenny, following a brief illness.
Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr Eamonn Kelly with burial taking place afterwards to New Leck Cemetery.
Mrs McDaid was predeceased by her husband Neil who died 10 years ago and her brother Colm.
Sympathy is extended to her daughters, Nora, Angela, sons, Kevin and Niall, grandsons, Aaron and Daniel, sons and daughters in law, brothers and sisters and wide circle of family and friends.
The late Annie Doherty
The funeral took place yesterday (Thursday) of the late Annie Doherty at St Mary's Church, Glenvar. Annie Doherty was a resident of Hillcrest Nursing Home for the last 10 years and is a native of Glenvar. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr Lorcan Sharkey with burial taking place afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. She is survived by her sisters, Rose and Shelia, (Glasgow) and brother Paddy, (London), nieces and nephews and wide circle of relatives and friends.
The late Jean Russell
The funeral took place on Wednesday at St Eunan's Cathedral of the late Mrs Jean Russell.
Jean Russell of Swilly View, Lower Main Street, Letterkenny passed away at Sligo General hospital on Monday. Requiem Mass was celebrated by Fr Kevin Gillespie at St Eunan's Cathedral with burial taking place afterwards to Conwal Cemetery.Sympathy is extended to her husband Harry, daughters, Olive Daly, (Letterkenny), Sinead Irvine, (Kildare), Francis Postgate, (Australia), sons Harry, (London) and Eunan, (Letterkenny), her brother Oliver Lockhart, (Ard O'Donnell), sister-in-law, neighbours and friends.
