LETTERKENNY gardai are investigating a serious incident involving a number of travellers at a pub in Raphoe on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at the Diamond Bar at around 11.15pm and ended with the pub owner allegedly being assaulted. Two large windows and the door of the pub were also damaged.
It is believed that a number of members of the local travelling community got in to a dispute with the owner over a payment for a take away drinks order.
A spokesman for Letterkenny Garda Station said that no one was arrested, however, they are following a definite line of inquiry.
