THE ladies team ended their season on a winning note on Monday night when they defeated Milford United 1-0 in their final league game.
Well done to Johnny Baird and his team for their efforts throughout the campaign, the highlight of which was their victory over Kilmacrennan Celtic in the Glencar Inn Cup final.
The USL side are still in the early stages of their season and they got their first league win on Friday night with a 2-0 victory away to Keadue Rovers. Danny's side have a free weekend ahead. In the FAI Intermediate Cup, they have been drawn at home to Buncrana Hearts in the first round.
DONEGAL LEAGUE
The Donegal League side lost 4-1 against Drumbar United in their first league game. This matched was reversed to Drumbar and the Rovers goal was scored by new signing Peter Tourish. Paddy's side are away to Kerrykeel this Sunday.
The youths maintained their 100 per cent start to the Youth League following victories over Kildrum Tigers and Finn Harps this week.
James Bradley, Greg Magee, Paul Lowry and Cillian Morrison got the goals in the 4-0 win over Kildrum while Paul Lowry scored the winner in the 1-0 victory over Harps. They are back in action again on Saturday with a tricky away match against Killea/Newtown academy.
The U21s were due to play Sligo Rovers at Leckview Park on Sunday but the game was called off because Sligo were unable to field.
This Saturday, Letterkenny are away to Derry City.
MCCLAFFERTY'S
The club extends best wishes to Denis McClafferty and the McClafferty family following the closure of McClafferty's Bar this week.
A presentation was made to Denis at Sunday night's closing party to mark the special association that Rovers have enjoyed with McClafferty's for so many years.
Tickets for the annual fundraising draw will be going on sale very shortly. Tickets will cost 20 euro and members are urged to support the draw.
Sympathy is extended to Stephen McDaid on the death of his mother.
