Did you make a Donation to the Helping Hands Fund-raising events which culminated in Danny Caddye and Hazel Russell competing in the 2007 Shell Donegal International Rally. Or, did you have every intention of doing so, and it just slipped your mind?

The fund will be closing next Monday when it is intended to hand over the money to the three nominated charities - Patients Comfort Funds at the Oncology Unit, and the Breast Care Unit at Letterkenny General Hospital and the Patients Comfort Fund of St Luke's Hospital, Dublin. This Presentation will take place in the Glencar Room in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny on Monday, September 10, at 7.30pm and anyone wishing to donate should do so by contact any member of the Committee before the presentation or even come along on the night – all are welcome to attend.

The Helping Hands Committee, are just so proud and grateful for the support received from all parts of the county and indeed further afield. When the idea was initially mooted, the Committee thought they were being very optimistic by hoping to raise ¤30,000, ten thousand for each charity, but the figure achieved is just magnificent.
