A local councillor has called for temporary lights to be placed at the junction between Lisnennan and Gortlee Road as a matter of urgency.
Councillor Jean Crossan made the proposal at Monday night's Town Council meeting. She was told by Town Clerk, Mr Paddy Doherty that there were no plans at the moment to place lights at the junction as a roundabout and Link Road is planned as part of the N56 realignment.
"However, a request can be made to the NRA with regard to the proposal," he said.
