"Over the last number of weeks we have listened carefully to the concerns of home buyers in Letterkenny and they are concerned about getting value for money.
"This latest release of twenty house represents excellent value for money and is priced to appeal to first time buyers and investors at a level that is more affordable than any other new houses in Letterkenny.
"We don't see interest rates coming down until early next year and feel that in order to encourage people to make a decision to buy their homes this year we have to go the extra mile and this is what we have done," Mr Doherty said.
lower mortgages
"The reduction made of ¤26,000 per house gives buyers confidence to know that they are getting significant reductions on last year's prices and as a consequence will have lower mortgage repayments to make. We are pleased to announce this and feel that it is a positive step for homebuyers in Letterkenny," he added.
Patrick J Doherty and Son Limited are no strangers to innovation in the housing market having first released houses in the Ballymacool Estate offering to pay your mortgage for the first year.
