Plan for 141 houses in Kiltoy


AN application to build 141 units at Kiltoy was submitted to Letterkenny Town Council this week.

P&C McGettigan Ltd have applied for full planning permission on an 11 acre site at Kiltoy. The development will consist of 41 terrace houses, 10 which will be three storey high with four bedrooms and 22 three-bedroom houses with basements.

Eight apartment blocks are planned for the site. Two blocks will consist of two storey duplexes rising to a maximum height of 11.54 metres above ground level. Four two-storey apartment blocks are planned complete with a basement and two four-storey apartment blocks containing 16 two-bed apartments will also be built on site. The four-storey apartment blocks will be built to a maximum height of 14.2 metres.

The application also consists of four detached houses and 10-four bed semi detached houses and a crèche facility catering for 38 children.

The development will have two entrances and the junction will be upgraded.
