GARDAI have confirmed that the body discovered in the Lower Main Street of Letterkenny on Monday was that of Damien Wilson, Killymard, Donegal Town.
Mr Wilson (44) was a native of Strabane and is survived by his wife and two children. The funeral took place on Wednesday in Killymard and he was buried afterwards in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Drumarone.
Gardai say they are not treating the death as suspicious. Mr Wilsons body was found on Monday morning in a premises not far from the Market Square area. He had just returned from a golfing holiday in Portugal the day before.
POST MORTEM
Local GP and Dail Deputy James McDaid was called to the scene and the body was later removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post-mortem was carried out.
