JOBS ON THE LINE

BY NUALA MCALOON FEARS for Fermanagh's quarrying industry are growing with news that up to 30 jobs could be shed by one of the county's biggest employers, the Lisnaskea based Clarke Group. Industry analysts have warned that the county - which is heavily dependent on quarrying with over 800 people employed in the sector - is particularly vulnerable to the downturn in construction. Ceile for Carlton Hotel

The Lough Erne Ceili Band will make their first appearance in the Hotel Carlton, Belleek this Sunday March 21 at 5:30pm.
