Concern over state of ambulances in Fermanagh
One of the five ambulances serving Fermanagh has been on the road for nine years and has over 200,000 miles on the clock. The other four vehicles in the County all have over 100,000 miles on the clock.
The worrying figures were revealed by the Department of Health following an Assembly question from South Down DUP MLA, Jim Wells.

Vintage car run in memory of Raymond McCartney

This summer the Erne Vintage Car Club has decided to host it's annual vintage car club run in memory of its founding Chairman, Raymond McCartney, who passed away twelve months ago. Raymond was Chairman of the club for 26 years.

Council declares war on car litterbugs
Fermanagh District Council has declared war on those car users who hurl waste out of their vehicles as they leave town, usually the debris from carry-outs or the bagged waste of a day out or week-end away.

Confederation of European Councillors meet in Enniskillen

Councillor Bert Johnston has clarified comments attributed to him in an article in the Fermanagh Herald 30 April 2008.
