Walking with a wiggle!

QUACK QUACK WENT THE DUCKS. . . . Pupils from Enniskillen Model Primary school dressed and ready to take part in a Duck Toddle Waddle in castle coole Estate to raise funds for Meningitis. They are Laura McCutcheon, Leja Kevevari and Julie Pauley. GKFH7

Primary One pupils at Enniskillen Model Primary School were walking with a 'wiggle and a giggle and a squawk' as they took to the grounds of Castlecoole of Friday in a sponsored Toddle Waddle which raised £800 for the Meningitis Trust.

The children were a colourful sight, as they wore duck costumes and masks as they made their way through the National Trust property.

The 'Toddle Waddle' was the culmination of a week of activities related to ducks, which included arts and crafts, games, rhymes and stories.

Principal of the Model, Winston Glass, explained the idea of looking at ducks, came from some literature from the Meningitis Trust, which also suggested the successful Toddle Waddle theme.

Mr Glass praised the generous donations of relatives and parents and said the Primary One pupils had really enjoyed their week of activities.
