Supersize adverts launch 'super' college

When the new 'Super College' for Fermanagh and Tyrone – The South West College, came into existence on 1st August (merging East Tyrone College, Fermanagh College and Omagh College) – the new college needed to make itself known in a big way.

One way of getting the message out was by advertising on local buses, but this being a Super College, nothing short of a supersized advertisement on the back of the biggest buses running in Fermanagh and Tyrone, would do.

This size of this ad is somewhat unusual in this area as Peter Toal, Marketing and PR manager (Enniskillen Campus) explained, "It is very rare to see bus advertising on this scale locally. We really wanted something which reflected the super size of the new South West College. Hopefully this mobile ad will draw plenty of interest from local people as it makes its way around Fermanagh and Tyrone in the coming weeks."

He went on to say, although the new college is collectively much larger, it will still operates on a campus basis in Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh, thereby keeping a strong local identity and connection to local people in all these areas. If anybody is interested in enrolling for courses in Enniskillen, they can freephone the Enrolment hotline on 0800 092 4422.
