It promises to be the event of the year when the NECW Superstars of Wrestling roll into Irvinestown on Thursday 1 February, on their 'Unleashed' tour.
Mahon's Hotel will be transformed into an exciting fighting arena for the occasion as some of the best wrestlers from the USA, Mexico, Japan and Europe will be lining up to produce the thrills and the audience have come to expect from major league wrestling.
From the back streets of Brooklyn comes 'Mr USA' Brodie Steele, all six foot eight inches of him - with a body that looks like it was chiselled from stone. Steele has wrestled all over the world and comes to Ireland direct from a very successful tour of Korea. He was trained for the ring by Stu Hart in his infamous 'Dungeon' in Calgary, Canada. Stu was the father of the former WWE World Champion Brett 'The Hitman' Hart and was responsible for training the likes of Chris Benoit and the British Bulldogs.
From Mexico City, get prepared for Mystico Del Rio - a sensational masked star in the same mould as Rey Mysterio Junior; and from Japan, comes Tagori, another high-flying sensation who is currently on a extensive tour of the UK.
Hailing from Scotland, 'Highlander' Drew McDonald, should cause a storm of controversy with his rule-breaking ways. Drew has just recovered from a torn bicep injury and assured he is now fighting fit again and looking forward to causing mayhem in the ring once more.
Despite the size of the county, Ireland has more than its' fair share of Wrestling Starts over the years. In the 1930's Steve 'Crusher' Casey, from Sneem, County Kerry, when to America and won the World Heavyweight Championship. In the 1940's Danno Mahony from Ballydehob, County Cork also won the world title when he defeated Ed Don George in Boston. In the 50's and 60's Dublin's Pat Brrett was one of the biggest names in the game in the United States.
Now two more Irish stars are ready to make names for themselves in the rough and tumble business. Eamon Shrahan from Clonmacnoise and Seamus O'Shaunessy from Dublin - both of whom will be in action on this tour.
Shrahan gave up a good job in a bank to pursue his dream of becoming a wrestler. He packed his bags about four years ago and headed for England. Already he is making great strides and is a regular competitor in Italy.
Barry 'The Brute' Wales bears a striking resemblance to the WWE's Batista. He is big, with muscles in places most people don't even have places - and he is a born fighter. It's a night not to be missed. Tickets are £10 for adults, and £8 for children under 16. Available from Mahon's Hotel on 6862 1656.
