Clients celebrate launch of Training DVD

A group of enterprising clients from New Horizons, Enniskillen who joined forces last year with the Media Department in Fermanagh College, to work together on the production of a promotional DVD of the New Horizons Service, had its launch this week.

The six budding directors, in designing and producing the DVD, interviewed and filmed friends and colleagues as they took part in the varied programmes in the Centre.

The production captures the variety of opportunities on offer in New Horizons at its Drumco base and shows the level of support provided by staff to clients as they engage in training programmes.

The DVD will be used by clients, staff and professionals to introduce the service to people across Fermanagh who are recovering from mental health problems and who could benefit from training and support.

The DVD was officially launched on Monday last, 28th January in the Clinton Centre, Enniskillen.

New Horizons Fermanagh is part of the Action Mental Health organisation, one of NI's leading mental health charities. It is funded by the EU, Building Sustainable Prosperity Programme and the Western Health and Social Care Trust.
