The AGM of County Fermanagh Farming Society Ltd was held on Monday of this week and the following were elected for the forthcoming year -

President - Mr Stuart Johnston;

Chairman - Lord Anthony Hamilton;

Deputy Chairmen - Messrs Douglas Graham & Derek Quinton;

Treasurer – Mr Robert Scholes;

Company Secretary - Heather Crawford.

Committee of Management - Miss Maisie Guy, Miss Marion Henderson, Mrs Melanie Little, Mrs Joan Wilson-Bullock, Miss Ruth Read, Mrs Hazel McDonald, Mrs Ann Orr, Mr Michael Murphy, Mr Tom Palmer, Mr Seamus Gunn, Mr William Graham, Mr Edward Rogers, Mr Stewart Baxter, Mr Robert Sheridan and Mr Albert Knox. Also Roland Graham and Alan Morrison (YFC nominees).

The Treasurer reported on a successful Show with a very high attendance. The Chairman thanked the members for his re-election and expressed his appreciation to all Sponsors, Exhibitors, Stewards and the Committee for their support of the Society.

The 2008 Fermanagh County Show would be officially Launched on 16th June with Show dates 5th & 6th August.
