Year 10 pupils at Lisnaskea High School participated in the 'Project Business Programme' offered by 'Young Enterprise', Northern Ireland. This programme provided these pupils with an insight into the world of business, consumer rights and the importance of money management
The day involved practical and enquiry based learning, whereby pupil teams developed a business idea, a logo, an advertising campaign and a 'model' of the product. The teams further presented their ideas to the rest of the pupils.
The pupils further developed their thinking skills and personal capabilities to include, working with others, managing information, thinking, problem solving and decision making.
The Business Programme, link teacher, Mrs J Agnew says that "the pupils had an enjoyable day working with each other thus enabling them to build upon their confidence and self-esteem" and pupils were awarded with a selection of prizes for their achievements.
The Staff at Lisnaskea High School continue to inspire our pupils so they can develop attitudes and skills for personal success in life and employability through participation in practical programmes.
