Little Shop of Horrors brought to life

GKFH32

Fermanagh College students put on spectacular show

The engaging and sometimes sinister plot of the musical 'The Little Shop of Horrors' will be brought to life by the pupils of Fermanagh College BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at the Share Centre in Lisnaskea at the start of June.

For the accomplished group of students this is their third and final production working together, having previously performed 'Working' and 'Home'.

The popular show centres on nerdy florist worker Seymour, played by Blaine Jackman, who raises a plant that feeds on a very unexpected food source!

Other characters include: Leanna Magee, who plays Audrey; Mr Mushnik, played by Phillip Franco; Julie Franco plays a number characters including Mrs Luce the editor's wife; Meghan Monaghan, Rebecca Cullen and Michaela Connor, who play the Dreamgirls; Annie MacKenzie who plays Miss Martin the plant distributor, and is one of the plant operators; and Aaron Livingstone, who plays the dentist and also operates the plant known as Audrey II.

The musical director is Jeanne Munroe, choreographer is Fiona Thompson, and the director is Rose O'Neiill.

Featuring a hugely talented cast and some spectacular props - including a huge life-sized plant, this is certainly a show not to be missed.

'The Little Shop of Horrors' runs at the Share Centre on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 4 - 6 June. Tickets are available from Fermanagh College Reception from 12.30 - 1.30pm Monday to Friday.

The show starts at 8pm, and tickets are priced at £10 or £7 concession. Don't miss this one!.
