Tiles taken from church

Police are appealing for information following the theft of 40ft of tiling from a Methodist Church located on the Swanlinbar Road.

Police believe that the premises were entered via a window sometime between Friday and Saturday, 24 and 25th October. In all, 27 boxes of 40 msq tiles containing nine tiles in each box were removed at a cost of approximately £1,000. This is the second time the church has been targeted for theft.
