The 90th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme will be marked with a special exhibition at Enniskillen County Museum.
The Battle of the Somme had a far-reaching effects on people throughout Ireland, and this collections of medals, photographs, documents, uniforms, and personal recollections, provides an excellent point of reference for anyone with an interest in this era. The exhibition is also of interest to those who have family members or friends who took part in the battle, or those who simply want to know more about this period.
The exhibition opens next Tuesday 7 November, and runs until the 16 November. It is open daily, except Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm, and everyone is welcome.
