Family history group's New Year meeting


Fermanagh Family History Society starts the New Year with their 2009 Talk Programme.

If you are interested in your family history, you are invited to come along to their next meeting this Saturday 24th January in Enniskillen Library at 2.15pm.

At the end of the meeting around 3pm, local author, Vicky Herbert will give a talk on 'The Maguires of Fermanagh', focusing on the history of the medieval clan chiefs of Fermanagh.

The group's next research trip will be to the National Archives in Dublin on Friday 17th April 2009.
