Mount Lourdes students visit Stormont

Students from Mount Lourdes visited the Stormont Assembly as part of their work experience with Sinn Féin recently, and while there, they met with the Minister for Education, Catríona Ruane.

The visit to the Assembly was part of a three-day programme of work with the Party. It included time spent in the Enniskillen office, a tour of the Townhall in Enniskillen with Councillor Ruth Lynch, and a canvass of constituents in the Cornagrade area of Enniskillen.

On their visit to Stormont, the students met with all the political parties for a Question and Answer session before going on to meet Sinn Féin Ministers Conor Murphy, Catríona Ruane and Gerry Kelly. On the afternoon of their visit to the Assembly, the girls visited the graves of Bobby Sands MP and Kieran Doherty TD at Milltown Cemetery.
