A nineteen year old labourer has appeared before Fermanagh Magistrates Court charged with causing the death of another young man by dangerous driving.
Gavin Francis Magee, with an address at Drumbeggan Road, Monea appeared before the court for the purposes of a preliminary enquiry into his case.
The defendant is charged with causing the death of Adrian James Cassidy by driving a vehicle dangerously at Shankhill Road, Monea on 2nd February 2006.
Counsel for the Public Prosecution Service told the court that they believed there was a case for the defendant to answer.
The defendant said he was aware of the charge but, when asked, he said he had nothing to say at this time in relation to the charge.
The defendant was remanded on continuing bail to appear for trial at Dungannon Crown Court on 12th February 2007.
