100 new jobs for Enniskillen

100 new jobs for Enniskillen

More than 100 people from around the County have been recruited for positions created by the new Marks and Spencer store which is due to open late next month.

And, there is likely to be further good news on the jobs front at Erneside, Enniskillen when more new stores, River Island and Superdrug, open their doors later this year.

The jobs at Marks and Spencer are both full-time and part-time positions. They range from check-out staff right through to management and administration jobs. This latest announcement is a huge boost for the County at a time when many people face an uncertain employment future.

The Company have also confirmed they will be recruiting further staff in the run up to Christmas.

The 18,000 sq ft store will open under Marks and Spencer's signature style, with contemporary interior design. The new store will also incorporate a number of initiatives in line with Plan A, Marks and Spencer's 100-point, five year 'eco' plan.

The 100 new positions also include a number of specialist staff. They have been recruited to work at the store and will be on hand to provide an expert service to customers when the store opens next month.

Brian Quinn, Marks and Spencer, Enniskillen, Store Manager said: "We're delighted to announce that we are now fully recruited for the opening of our exciting new store at the Erneside Shopping Centre.

"We've had an overwhelming response from people wanting to join our team, and we are really looking forward to opening our brand-new store."
