Wake up for Wakejam '07

Waterways Ireland WAKEJAM 07 is the pinnacle wakeboard event in Ireland of 2007. It will be held on Broad Meadow, Lough Erne, Enniskillen 28th–29th July 2007. Enniskillen Castle provides a fabulous backdrop to the event with 'flat calm' conditions enabling a perfect pass of the competition course for all riders.

The event will feature international riders from the United States, Australia and Europe. The aim of Waterways Ireland WAKEJAM is to showcase a world-class standard of wakeboarding on a world-class site. Broad Meadow provides a powerful vantage point for all spectators at this free admission event, where everyone will be able to enjoy the extreme sport of wakeboarding and see every trick performed in full view.

Alongside international pro riders Josh Sanders, Daniel Watkins, Brett Eisenhauer, Chad Lowe, Jonty Green, Richard Hiney, Dan Nott, Hamish Lowe and Stew Mackie will be the best riders from the North and South of Ireland, including Pete Stewart.

The standard has grown to a remarkable level over the past three years in Ireland and this event gives every water sports enthusiast a chance to see top level wakeboarding right in front of their eyes.

Pro riders and world-class coaches will be on hand to provide information and education on all aspects of the sport, as well as coaching clinics being run on Lough Erne during the week of the event.

MasterCraft Ireland is the towboat sponsor for the event and J Star Wakeboards will support the event as board sponsor. With thanks for support also going to Fermanagh District Council, SeaDoo BRP and Kilmore Jetworks.

Waterways Ireland WAKEJAM 07 is gearing up to be one of the greatest sporting events of 2007 with on shore entertainment, including 'reverse bungee', 'harness trampolines' and other on shore entertainment.
