Storyteller for Cathal Bui festival

Dowra storyteller Tony Cuckson will entertain children from ages five to 95 at the 2006 Cathal Buí Festival. The Blacklion, festival has become a regular fixture on the local festival and fléa calendar.

The Armagh native seanchaí will present an hour long programme of music and story at 4pm on Saturday, 1st July. Tony's stories are inspired by Celtic myths and wonder tales but include a modern slant so that children and adults can be inspired by the heros (and heroines) journey. Tony's story 'Shadowflower & the Garden of Time' has drawn international attention and praise for its usefulness as a teaching tale to explain the consequences of bullying to children and teenagers.

If children under the age of five will accompany a brother or sister we ask that an adult accompany them.

For more information you can email ony@irishblessingmatter.com or ring him on 071-964-3936.

You can view 'Shadowflower & the Garden of Time' on his website http://www.irishblessingsmatter.com
