Ruari boot does the trick!

ENNISKILLEN U-18S ................ 11

PORTORA .................................. 8

Enniskillen under-18s finished their season with a fixture against Portora's potential first XV for next season and in a nip and tuck match emerged victorious, thanks to the boot of skipper Ruari Fee.

Both sides traded first half tries, with Daniel Allister getting on the score sheet for Enniskillen, before Portora took the lead with a penalty, the game decided when Fee chipped in with the winning scores.

Praise must go to both teams, who served up a good competitive end of season game in extremely warm conditions. Indeed, the match, the result of which could have gone either way, and was in doubt right up to the final whistle.

The result and performance is an indication of the progress and improvement made by the youth development section at Enniskillen Rugby Club, but more than that, the combined quality of rugby from both sides shows that the future of rugby in Fermanagh looks to be in safe hands with the work and commitment put in by the coaches and players from both the school and club.
