Milk Cup Senior Manager, Paul Keenan, has praised the support and expertise shown by his coaches as his side prepare to make their assault on one of the premier youth competitions in Europe.
Keenan has been able to call on the services of current Ballinamallard player Leon Carters, local soccer legend Paul Cassidy and up and coming coach Chris McDowell.
"Everyone has been fantastic. I could not have asked for three more dedicated people," Paul explained before continuing, "Leon has been brilliant. He demands and gets the respect of the players and because he has the experience of playing in the Milk Cup they can relate to him and he can tell them exactly what to expect when they get there. He has really brought a lot to the set-up; being a centre half he has helped the defensive side of things immensely and his work on set pieces has been terrific."
And as for Cassidy, Keenan describes him as simply priceless.
"I mean, what can you say about Paul? He is priceless. I have known him all down through the years and it is great to have someone like Paul in the set-up."
The coaching staff is made up of Chris McDowell.
"Chris is a very smart guy. He is young and has lots of good ideas and the boys really can relate to him as well."
