BBC TV show 'The Last Resort' is looking for six new volunteers

Do you suffer from any extreme phobias? Are you afraid of spiders or open spaces for example? Do you have an addictive personality? Are problems with anger management getting out of hand? Or have physical or emotional issues brought you to the end of your tether?

If so, this could be your chance to get expert advice in a radical approach to dealing with phobias.

The BBC Northern Ireland television series, The Last Resort, is looking for six new volunteers to take part in a new series due to film in July.

The series offers the six people the opportunity to take part in a two-week intensive detox at a location in Fermanagh with the help of expert professional advice and the aim of transforming their lives.

The first series, broadcast earlier this year, featured six people who suffered from a variety of lifestyle and health problems that were ruling their lives - including an addiction to junk food and someone obsessed with cleaning - and the production team is now looking for six new people to help.

The programme includes the six volunteers spending an intensive two weeks during July with a team of expert psychologists, nutritionists and life coaches.

The expert team will tailor a specialised programme dedicated specifically to each person's needs with the aim of transforming their lives. Tern TV, the production company who make the series for BBC Northern Ireland, is looking for outgoing people who have issues that are hampering them from achieving proper happiness and their full potential in life. Whether it's physical, mental or emotional the programme want people who are willing to share their story with them. Producer David Malone of Tern TV said: "If you're fed up with an addiction or a phobia that's been ruling your life or ruining the lives of your family or friends, this is the chance to take a step to dealing with it. It could be anything – from gambling to emotional problems – we want you to get in touch with us.

If you feel that you – or someone you know - would be a suitable candidate to spend ten days in The Last Resort, you can get in touch with one of the Tern TV production team who will be happy to discuss things in more detail – in the strictest confidence.

You can contact the TERN TV production team of Mat, Keith or Cathleen in the strictest confidence by e-mail: lastresort@terntv.com or telephone 028 9032 9585.
