Enniskillen Castle Museum
has lined up another
day of creepy
goings-on on Friday
31 October. It is part of the
overall Hallowe'en activities
organised by Fermanagh District
Council which will take
place on the banks of the River
Erne.
The day begins at 2pm with
the Hallowe'en Extravaganza
at Enniskillen Castle Museums
and is followed by an
evening of spectacular fireworks
at the Broadmeadow.
The afternoon at the castle
is by ticket only and there is
so much to see and do. There
will be children's entertainment
galore in the form of
puppet and magic shows,
bouncy castles, spooky storytelling
and a new sci-fi
themed creepy tunnel.
Other highlights will include
street entertainer performances,
stilt walkers, fire
blowers, birds of prey flying
displays and children's craft
workshops so there's plenty
to keep everyone happy.
Speaking about the forthcoming
Hallowe'en event at
Enniskillen Castle, Sarah
McHugh, Manager of Museum
Services said:
"We have put a lot of work
into the Hallowe'en Extravaganza
to make it extra special
this year. We hope to see lots
of children (and adults)
dressed up in costume and enjoying
themselves and the
various entertainments we
have lined up. This event is
always very popular so I
would advise people to get
their tickets as early as possible.
