City of Ember was produced by Tom Hanks and has been

described as a 'heart-thumping edge of your seat adventure'

and boasts an impressive cast and crew of acclaimed

award-winning talent.

The script was written by Caroline Thompson of Edward

Scissorhands fame and is based on the best selling

children's adventure novel by Jeanne Duprau.

The film is set in a future where the earth's citizens

have moved underground to escape the planet's toxic atmosphere.
