Thomas 'markets' success


Enniskillen man Thomas McCaffrey has clinched the prestigious title of Winner of the All Ireland Chartered Institute of Marketing's, Young Marketer of the year 2007.

The award recognised Thomas's all round ability to get results and improving his clients Online and Offline marketing, operating in the public, commercial and private sector, across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Charles Fulton, the President of the CIM said : "Thomas's ability to get results and ensure measurable feedback for his clients, meant he stood out, among a quality list of nominees. The judges were very impressed with his ability to work with a wide variety of clients, large and small, and across so many fields, regionally and internationally".

Thomas was welcomed onto the stage by BBC News reader, Nicolas Owen and was presented with his award by Professor Rodney McAdam, the Head of the School of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ulster.

Thomas works as Marketing & PR Manager for Happening Communications who have offices in Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool.

"To be honest, I was not expecting this award as the other nominees come from great companies with marketing resources I could only dream of. Saying that, I have worked extremely hard in the last year and have a great management team around me in addition to some excellent colleagues and clients".
