Country music showtime returns for Summer special

The highly acclaimed "Country Music Showtime With the Stars" returns, by popular demand, for a Summer Special at the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen, on Wednesday, 22nd August.

This Show was so successful on its first visit that it sold out in advance and with a complete new line-up of stars coming to entertain, another record-breaking crowd is expected.

This time when the "Country Music Showtime" bandwagon pulls up at the Killyhevlin, on board will be Showband legend, Larry Cunningham who will take the audience on a musical journey through Ireland, from the famous "Wicklow Mountains" to "Lovely Leitrim".

Making her first appearance at the Killyhevlin will be Donegal's new singing sensation, Deirdre Bonner. She shot to fame with her brilliant version of "The Tennessee Waltz" which was played on all radio stations around the country, including Gerry Anderson's B.B.C. Radio Ulster Show. So, if you haven't seen this girl yet 'live', keep 22nd August free.

Local recording star, Anthony McBrien is also on the bill. He has many fans around Enniskillen.

And there's the best dressed singer on the concert scene, the one and only Jackie Nelson who has the big Christmas hit, "Walking, Talking Dolly".

From Ballyshannon comes the amazing fiddling skills of Fiddler Adam. Audiences love this guy. He will have you bouncing in your seat with the popular "Orange Blossom Special", "Turkey in the Straw" and "Boil that Cabbage Down", plus, he has a great country voice as well.

Providing the backing for all the acts are the fabulous "Country Harmony", direct from

Hugo Duncan's B.B.C. Radio Ulster Outside Broadcast shows. These boys are indeed enjoying great success with their latest single "The Hugo Song".

Introducing the artists on stage is the organiser of the show, Sean Wallace who will keep the action-packed programme swiftly flowing along. Doors open at 7.15 pm. Show begins at 8.00 pm. Tickets are now on sale at £12.50 from Reception at Killyhevlin Hotel (Telephone 028 6632 3481); Caroline Music Shop, Erneside Shopping Centre; Elliott's Costcutter Store, Maguiresbridge or book direct with Sean Wallace on 028 4067 1461.
