The name of popular motorcyle racer Richard Britton lives on.
Two men in the truck repair and haulage industry, who worshipped the top Enniskillen racer, have decided to emblazon his name and photograph on one of their lorries.
Stephen and Michael Kelly, of Edenmore Road, Tempo, have been admirers of the top Northern Ireland racer for many years.
"We did it to keep the memory of Richard Britton alive," said Michael.
"We were good supporters of him when he was racing. We support bike racing full stop," he said.
The Kellys have the full backing of the Britton family for their lorry project.
"We went and spoke to them and to Richard's number one fan, Arthur McElroy and they were pleased that we had considered such a thing."
"Richard wasn't just a great rider, but he had a great personality. Every day he went out, the fact that he came first or last, he seemed to have a carefree attitude. He was always happy with the result. That gave us a great admiration for him," said Michael.
He went on, "I suppose we were inspired to keep the memory of him living on. We just took the notion one day to remember him."
The Kellys are into lorries in a big way and felt that it was their way of doing something.
"That is our way of doing things to keep him in our minds," said Michael.
The photos of Richard on the side of the lorry are based on real life in his traditional green racing gear on a grey background.
"We tried our best to match with Richard's racing colours and I think we got it pretty close," said Michael.
