The Clinton Centre Higher Bridges Gallery Enniskillen is hosting an exhibition of Belfast artist Bill Saunders of his most recent work.
This recent work has strong connections to the "thinking space" of my studio, its walls, floor and collected contents.
As process it seeks the poetic, in the main enquiring into, and developing the notion of tree as witness.... thus the accruing studio branches offering' escape and incident.
Decanting from the studio, the exhibition will comprise of formally framed, painted images on paper and an assembly and grouping of "to hand" forms and materials.
Though the works on paper (ALBUM) make for significant contrast to the installation pieces, they are grafted from the same root stock; differences and similarities around which one hopes the exhibition will be felt to turn.
The exhibition opened on Friday 3rd August and will run until the 29th August 2007
