The hugely popular annual Dromahair 4 mile fun run and walk takes place at 3pm on Sunday 2nd September. This event is open to all levels of runners and walkers. The race starts and finishes outside The Abbey Manor Hotel on Main Street, Dromahair, Co. Leitrim. The entry fee is ÿ10 and registration takes place in the Depot, Dromahair, between 2-4pm on Saturday 1st September, and up to 10 minutes before the start of the race on Sunday 2nd September in the hotel. There will be T-shirts for the first 200 entrants and medals to all race finishers. There will also be trophies for the first 3 finishers in each category and age group, as well as the Gary McTernnan Memorial Trophy to the first male local finisher.

As well as the main 4 mile event, there will also be children's races on the day starting at 2pm. The entry fee for the children's races is ÿ3.
