Fermanagh Choral Society in association with Macartan 1500+ have collaborated to offer a free opportunity to enjoy a glorious live music performance on Sunday 13th April at 8.00pm in St Michael's Church Enniskillen.
The main piece which the Choral Society will perform is the Nelson Mass by Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809).
As part of the performance, accomplished organist, Ian Keatley, will be giving an organ recital. Ian is a former Westminster Abbey Organ Scholar, where he played for a number of Royal and State occasions including the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II and the memorial services for the former Prime Minister, Lord Callaghan and Comedian, Ronnie Barker.
SOLOISTS
The performance will also include four soloists from The National Chamber Choir, Soprano Roisin O'Grady, Alto Niamh O'Connell, Tenor Simon Morgan and Bass Stephen Fennelly. The keyboard accompaniment will be provided by Irene Kernohan and the orchestra will be The Western Sinfonia. All will be under the able direction of Mr Don Swain.
