Fermanagh's finest guitarist, Henry McCullough is taking to the stage with the legendary Albert Lee.
The impressive line-up can be at the Strule Arts Centre in Omagh next Wednesday 29 October.
Henry, the only Irishman to play Woodstock also played with Paul McCartney's 'Wings', Roy Harper, Marianne Faithful, Joe Cocker and The Grease Band, before branching out into a successful solo career with a number of successful albums to his credit.
Albert Lee, has an equally impressive CV. He has backed a number of headline artists including Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, the Everly Brothers and Bill Wyman. Currently he fronts his own band Hogan's Heroes which features Pete Wingfield (keys), Gerry Hogan (pedal steel), Brian Hodgeson (bass), and Pete Baron (drums).
Speaking in anticipation of his gig, McCullough said: "Albert is the king of the country stuff. He has flown the flag for that style of music for many years now and in his performances every note is executed perfectly. He is without doubt one of the greatest guitarists around today."
The two legends have never met personally prior to this tour, but the Fermanagh man is looking forward to the gigs: "Although I have never had the pleasure of sitting down with Albert, I have always admired his style. He's a bit if of a legend."
McCullough plans to perform a 40 minute slot on the night featuring some of his own familiar material coupled with songs from his new album 'Poor Man's Moon', which was released just last month.
