Enjoy a fun filled afternoon this Saturday 25 October at Crom, the National Trust property near Newtownbutler. See the impressive display of autumn colours on a woodland walk in this spectacular estate on the shores of Upper Lough Erne.
Children of all ages will be able to take part in 'Trick or Tree' a fancy dress event set at the Old Castle ruins, with competitions for guessing the height, girth, age of a tree and the best fancy dress. Meet wildlife enthusiast Dale Treadwell, to find out about the bugs and wildlife at Crom. Dale has become a regular feature on RTE and TV3 promoting 'kid zone' activities on various shows.
There will also be storytelling, live music and children's craft activities. The tunnels underneath the visitor centre will be a hive of activity with pumpkin lantern making. Choose your own pumpkin and face design for National Trust staff to carve for you.
The Autumn Fest runs from 1-5pm on Saturday and admission is £3.50 for adults, £2.00 for children, £10.00 for a family.
